About the Session
The strengths of a woman are irrefutable. And in the business world, we really shine.
But sometimes, we do it by taking on the male traits to get something
done. Dictating decisions, driven focus on details, firm and
unemotional approaches.
That may describe you, but for most of us women, the male way of doing
something is somewhat unnatural. We have adapted, but at the heart of
it we are better when we can create a collaborative environment and
support decisions using team buy-in and big-picture strategies.
In this 90-minute workshop, we will discuss 13 feminine leadership
traits and assess where yours excel. We will then address why we
compromise our preferred way of doing business by the messages we tell
ourselves. Participants will have the opportunity to practice three
interactive strategies of women who lead well: communications, public
presence, and creating results.
By the end of the session, participants will have an initial
understanding of their leadership story from a completely different
angle, one in which femininity is appreciated and natural strengths are
heralded.
The workshop will conclude with a book-signing.
